Applying an academic grading system to each, my average was a generous overall D. ![]() Upon 2nd reading, I find 1 of 21 stories great, 1 good, 6 ok, 5 not good, 4 bad, 3 insufferable and 1 "f****** insufferable". I changed my rating from 4 stars (2008- I was 22) to 2 (2019- I am 33). ![]() STOP CRYING I love me some Bradbury but I find that my tolerance for hollow sentiment is diminishing rapidly with age. ![]()

Often storys end on the middle of the page and the introduction for the next one begins just a paragraph later. Unfortunatly the Jove editors did kind of a hatchet job here they couldn´t be bothered to begin storys and their introduction on a new page, or do titles in bold. But the autobiographical introduction and the forewords to the storys are interesting, lots of anecdotes and trivia about editors and markets from the time, from Weird Tales to Unknown. The two I have read so far are a bit dull. I have bought a Jove edition (1978) these days on Evilbay. ![]() 5/10/2023 0 Comments Vamos rafa![]() ![]() ![]() I can only imagine what a distraction this has been on the players. is the question of the day as all of this could have been avoided from the get-go. ND legal team is going to file another injunction for the courts to hear this case again prior to the start of the AO. In these letters, Nabokov is passionate and vulnerable chivalrous and (sometimes) inconstant a man of his time and one ahead of the historical curve. Saul Bellow once called Nabokov a “cold narcissist,” and Letters to Véra decisively dispels that common misconception. Some time in the late 1960s or early 1970s Véra destroyed virtually all of her letters to Vladimir. In this long-anticipated volume, lovingly edited and translated by Boyd and Olga Voronina, we get a first-hand look at the marriage-at least from one angle.
